Dear Valued Customer,

Effective October 30, Adel Wholesalers will focus exclusively on HVAC distribution, including but not limited to Heil residential and light commercial equipment; GE/Haier ductless systems and water heaters; NTI boilers; and parts and accessories from common manufacturers in your area.

We will no longer accept orders for new plumbing products.  However, we will discount our existing plumbing inventory and make it available to customers throughout November.  Beginning in December, we will offer remaining inventory to the public through advertised showroom clearance events.  Please get in touch with us soon if you are interested in purchasing any remaining inventory.

Our plumbing showroom is now closed.  We will honor existing orders and backorders, and they will remain available for pickup or delivery.  Plumbing records and quotes will remain accessible, and we will honor quotes issued through November 30.  We can continue ordering from plumbing suppliers as needed to fulfill existing backorders.

Dave Smith, our Bettendorf manager, will be your primary contact for plumbing-related questions.  In the future, Adel will no longer process plumbing product warranty claims but will help customers find a distributor to handle them.

This decision was not made lightly.  The plumbing industry has changed significantly, with manufacturers increasingly selling directly to consumers and through retail, online, and national distribution channels.  After years of struggling with these changes, we believe focusing our resources on HVAC is the best path forward for Adel.

For our HVAC customers, we remain committed to providing the service, support, and partnership you expect.  By concentrating exclusively on HVAC, we hope to dedicate more resources to your needs and become an even stronger partner over the next 6 to 12 months.

Since beginning as a propane business in 1952, Adel has adapted its focus several times to meet changing market conditions.  We believe this latest transition is an important step toward a stronger future.
